EKG Labs is excited to announce that we will be attending E&L USA 2018 from May 7-9 in Bethesda, Maryland. As a leader in the pharmaceutical and medical device testing field, EKG continues to attend, present, and exhibit at key industry conferences throughout the year. Notably, EKG will be returning to Philadelphia in September for PharmaED’s 5th Annual Transdermal and Intradermal Drug Delivery Systems. At this conference, EKG’s Dr. Xiao Jia will be presenting “Regulatory and Experimental Considerations for Extractable and Leachable Analysis of Microneedle Patches: A Case Study”.
Throughout 2018 EKG Labs has been traveling the country, sharing our expertise while also gaining knowledge from other industry leaders. This year, we have already attended Extractables, Leachables, & Elemental Impurities 2018, which was held by PharmaED at the end of March in Philadelphia, and the Medical Device Technology Exchange (MDTX) Conference and Exhibition held at the beginning of April in New Jersey. Dr. Allen Kesselring (Chief Science Officer at EKG Labs) presented at both conferences. Dr. Kesselring presented “USP <661> and USP <661.1>/<661.2>—A Review of Compendia Based Polymer Extractable and Chemical Safety Assessment” in Philadelphia and co-presented “Material and Assembly Method Selection for Safe, Reliable, and Cost-Effective Medical Device Manufacturing” at MDTX.
